Replacing the wiring harness for your motorcycle or scooter can be a lengthy affair. Depending on the age of your vehicle, the harness will be quite simple or very complex. Assuming you have the old harness to work with, that might not be too much of a problem, but many vehicles come with missing wiring, incorrect colouring or electric problems that are hard to diagnose without checking each and every lead.

I purchased a ready made replacement harness from www.kla-mot-te.de and I will be discussing it in these pages. The harness comes with a manual in German. I have done my best to translate the manual in English; it is included in the documentation section.
